At noon on March 30, Scott Larson, CFRE and Campaign Manager at Paul J. Strawhecker, Inc. will present "Strategic Planning for Non-Profits" at the NonProfit Hub in Lincoln.
Larson says the old adage, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail” is true for non-profit organizations.
"Strategic planning has become more important as our world becomes more complex and changes at a more rapid pace. It is more than conducting an organizational SWAT analysis or a consultant assessing a situation and setting a course of direction," said Larson.
This “lunch and learn” seminar will provide information about strategic planning that is inclusive, involves teamwork and collaboration, brings out creativity in individuals and groups, gives everyone a voice at the table, and gives ownership to everyone involved – all while confirming the group’s resolve and reflection.
Practical insights into best practices for strategic planning will be shared, as well as a "hands on" opportunity for everyone to participate in the process over lunch. Any non-profit staff or board members seeking insights and inspiration to help their organization be more strategic is invited to attend.
