Mitchell Technical Institute Foundation recently announced its first ever capital campaign, “Educating People, Empowering Communities,” to better serve its students and industry.
The $4 million campaign will fund, in priority order: 1) program support, to include lab equipment upgrades, the incorporation of technology-based teaching aids, and enhancement of faculty support, 2) the establishment of a technical leadership academy, 3) an increase in the amount and size of scholarships for students and 4) campus completion.
“In order for Mitchell Technical Institute (MTI) to continue to grow and meet the increasing demands for a well-trained workforce, we will need help from industry, our alumni, and our friends,” said Greg Von Wald, President of MTI.
The MTI Foundation announced that, to date, $2,335,000 or 58 percent of its goal has been raised, due to the generosity of its donors.
Paul J. Strawhecker, Inc. has provided consultation for the campaign.
