The Nebraska Hospital Association has selected Paul Strawhecker, MPA, ACFRE, president of Paul J. Strawhecker, Inc. and Jodie Nolan, CFRE, Vice President of Gift Planning Services, to give presentations about development at its Annual Convention.
Strawhecker will present a seminar titled, “So, Your Hospital has a Foundation,” which explores the role of the hospital foundation and what it can do for a hospital and community. Topics include organizing a fundraising program, case development, planning and executing an annual fund campaign and utilizing the capital campaign as a funding strategy for building improvements.
Nolan’s seminar, “Start-Up Steps and Implementation of a Planned Giving Program,” will address what is involved in establishing and maintaining a planned giving program. Topics covered include board involvement in the process, case development, marketing the program and how to qualify prospective donors.
Both presentations will be offered October 27 at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska.
