OMAHA, NEB. – Outlook Nebraska, Inc. (ONI), a nonprofit organization providing employment and other opportunities for people who are blind and visually impaired, has announced a partnership with the Nebraska Lions Foundation.
Effective July 1, Lions Clubs members throughout Nebraska are selling 40-count cases of two-ply, 550 sheets per roll toilet tissue created by Outlook Nebraska, Inc.
“By offering this product, Lions Clubs across the state are providing consumers and businesses the opportunity to make a socially responsible purchase for a product they use every day,” said Jim May, chair of the Nebraska Lions Foundation. “Our partnership with Outlook Nebraska also supports one of Lions Clubs’ primary service projects, aiding the blind and visually impaired.”
Profits from these sales will benefit each Lions Club and Outlook Nebraska, Inc. Three dollars of every case sold is directed to ONI’s Workplace Improvement Fund.
According to Eric Stueckrath, Chief Executive Officer of Outlook Nebraska, Inc., the Workplace Improvement Fund’s purpose is to enhance the employment experience and increase employee satisfaction. “This partnership will allow us to invest in equipment and adaptive aids that will help our legally blind employees,” he said. “We are grateful for the support of our friends in Lions Clubs throughout Nebraska.”
