Tom has 15 years of fundraising and development experience in higher education. He served as Foundation Executive Director for Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, South Dakota, where he raised more than $1 million annually and completed the Institute’s first major gift campaign, raising $10 million. His background also includes radio broadcast sales management and general management, and serving as a District Executive for Boy Scouts of America, Northern and Southern Black Hills District. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Dakota, is a past President of Rotary and a past promotions coordinator and loaned executive trainer with United Way. He resides in Watertown.
