Grant Writer / Funding Advisor

Kevin has been writing grants for over 15 years, working with a diverse range of nonprofits in human care, water access, legal justice, environmental conservation, and youth development, to name a few. Kevin currently is on the board of the Grant Professionals Association. He recently served as lead grant coordinator with Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, and was the director of international programs at the Vibrant Village Foundation in Portland, Oregon.

A native Cornhusker, Kevin grew up in Omaha and Wayne, and graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a double major in English and Russian language. He has lived and worked internationally in Central Asia, Russia and Kenya, experiences that bring him a fresh perspective to nonprofit work here in the Heartland. Kevin returned to his roots in Omaha in 2013, energized by the nonprofit community and its commitment to serving the metro area. He has a passion for supporting nonprofits and their clients with proven success in grant writing.
