Heather has worked in her career as an advocate for healthcare needs and social justice. She has spent time with successful teams at the United Way of the Midlands, Salvation Army and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for Douglas County. During her time at non-profits she has conducted campaign fundraising presentations, coordinated gift asks, run special events and helped with social media. While at CASA for Douglas County, Heather was the lead for the guild and worked closely with the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Crnkovich on the Family Involved Rehabilitation Services Track (FIRST) program. As a community volunteer Heather has worked with the Junior League of Omaha and HETRA. Heather is an excellent project coordinator and enjoys achieving successful fundraising results.
Heather graduated from Iowa Western Community College with a diploma in Practical Nursing in 2013 and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Child Protection and Juvenile Justice in 2017, from Bellevue University.
