You're Invited to Participate in a Nonprofit Research Collaborative Survey

Now through August 15, we're asking nonprofit organizations to participate in a study of fundraising practices underway at the Nonprofit Research Collaborative (NRC):

Through August 15, eligible organizations that complete the survey will have the option to register for a drawing. Ten organizations will be randomly selected to receive $250 each.

Why are we asking nonprofits to take this survey in particular? The NRC studies fundraising practices that help your organization succeed. The NRC's analyses link how funds are raised with meeting goals and raising more money. Their most recent report focused on annual funds and found that gift clubs help larger organizations raise more, but for organizations with $1 million or less in expenditure, gift clubs made little difference in reaching goal. Only the NRC tackles questions such as these.

The survey does not ask about specific amounts, just about changes in the funds received. Questions can be answered by anyone with knowledge about amounts received compared with last year and with understanding of how your organization plans fundraising. All respondents can check out the benchmark data generated by survey responses to date. A full report will be out in early October.
